✔️ Elevated cozy cafe vibes - 10/10

There’s even a fireplace here! Plenty of seating for those who want to sip by the fire or sit for a quick bite. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick family breakfast before our toddler ruined the whole vibe. 🥐

✔️Customer Service - 10/10

It was our first time having tableside service at a coffee shop— they brought out our entire order to us, plus glasses of iced water and a little baggie of napkins and accoutrements. A small detail, but as a parent it is so much appreciated! 🤌🏻

✔️ COFFEE - 10/10

We’ve never experienced an iced latte that held up its flavor till the last sip. We enjoyed it as we walked around town and each sip was just as strong and bold as the first. 😮‍💨 The shot of espresso and almond croissant was also sooo delicious!

Today we had a wonderful opportunity to donate 60 bottled lattes to the families at Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire.

The first thing I saw as I walked in through the doors was a mama holding her newborn baby. I was transported back to our days with Kora at RMH LA and filled with so much emotion.

I just wanted to hug that mama.
I wanted her to know she was doing an amazing job.
I wanted to tell her - YOU GOT THIS!

We really hope the families feel a little hug & encouragement through the coffee this week. ☕️

Tiffany: A hot latte, no matter the weather. Vanilla is my go-to flavor, but if there’s something unique or seasonal on the menu, I am all in!

Aaron: Either a double shot of espresso or a pour-over. I like my coffee straight-up so I can taste what makes it special. If both are available, even better… I’ll have one of each!

There are coffee shops at every corner in Downtown Seattle and luckily for us, Victrola Coffee Roasters was a short walk away from our hotel. We ordered the Pumpkin Pie Latte and a double-shot of espresso.

On 7/24, we celebrated our sweet Kora.

We admired the love and light she continues to shine on so many lives.

We made a donation to the Literally Healing reading program at CHLA.

We did it — together. With the incredible support of family and friends, we raised $730 in July. Our hearts are bursting with gratitude.

That’s approximately 85 books.✨

About 85 families and children receiving a glimmer of hope and light in the form of a special book delivered to their room during a difficult time.

They came daily to deliver a book to keep, completely free of charge. To us as parents, it meant much more than just a book—it gave us hope. It gave us hope for Kora’s healing and continued growth and development. It gave us hope that at the end of the tunnel, there would be our shining light and we’d be able to take her home to read those books to her.

We’re ready to pour that hope and light forward. 100% of all tips and donations this month will go toward supporting families and children at CHLA through the Literally Healing reading program.

Hi! We’re Aaron & Tiffany—

Cofounders of Beenz & Beans, high school sweethearts, and above all—mom & dad to three little ones.

Our journey into parenthood started in 2019 when we got pregnant with our baby boy, Kaden. At almost 39 weeks gestation, we were given the most devastating news that he no longer had a heartbeat. Nothing could have prepared us for the day we had to say goodbye and leave the hospital without him. Kaden was born still, but he was perfect in every way.

In 2022, we had our sweet Kora. She was our rainbow and she was a heart warrior. She courageously fought congenital heart disease from her first to her very last breath. Our hearts are forever broken for everything she had to endure. Through it all, she still had a strong, feisty personality and we are so incredibly proud to be her parents.

And lastly Ellie, our answered prayer who we thank God everyday for letting us keep in our arms—she is our light and healing. Though they are no longer with us, Kaden & Kora live on in our hearts and we live in their honor. They have guided us to be there for those in need.

In the darkest of times, the warmth of others carried us through. Now, with every cup we brew, our mission is to pour that kindness forward—offering comfort, hope, and light to families and children in need.

My goodness, what a wonderful trip it was to San Diego this past weekend. 💕 Our baby girl is finally at an age where sleep is getting (a tiny bit) easier and is understanding so much more. It is truly a blessing to relive mundane things through her bright and innocent eyes.

Let me tell you something…after buying my first Delonghi espresso machine for under $100, I convinced myself that brewing coffee at home would save me money in the long run, and boy was I wrong. 😂

Brewing coffee at home, especially espresso, has lead me down a rabbit hole that is long and endless. But, I LOVE IT. I’m constantly experimenting and chasing the perfect cup.

Here I am... Although I have NOT saved a lot of money (more so the opposite) I’ve had some of the tastiest coffee brewed at home, and I’m excited to show you guys all the creations to come. We’re looking forward to hosting pop-ups with this beast of a machine, and brew coffee for you in person. ☕️
